How do you build the Task Bar Hero Hunter?

The Hunter is the trap class, and its skill tree is built around that identity rather than around raw ranged damage. The level 1 row opens with Explosive Bolt and Frost Bolt alongside Attack Damage and Move Speed.

Level 10 is the row that defines the build: Trap Damage Enhancement and Quick Loader, with Crit Chance Enhancement supporting them. Level 20 adds Charge Trap plus Evasion and Attack Speed, and level 30 brings Crossbow Turret with Armour Penetration and Crit Damage Enhancement — at that point the Hunter is placing multiple damage sources at once instead of only firing a crossbow.

What makes the Hunter different from the Ranger?

The Hunter trades sustained fire for mobility and burst. Its movement speed of 1100 is the fastest in the roster against the Ranger’s 1050, and its critical damage of 155% is slightly higher than the Ranger’s 150% — but its attack speed of 0.95 is slower than the Ranger’s 1.05, so it fires less often.

In practice that makes the Hunter a kiting class: Evasion Enhancement and Move Speed Enhancement let it stay out of reach while traps and turrets do the work. Boss Damage Enhancement at 50 and Health Enhancement at 60 round it out for longer fights, where the extra critical damage matters more than attack frequency.
