How do you build the Task Bar Hero Priest?

The Priest is the support anchor, and it is built around cooldown reduction. It starts with 10% cooldown reduction and 1.2 cast speed — both the highest in the roster — so the goal is casting more often rather than casting bigger.

The level 1 row gives Healing Power and Health plus the Heal and Blessing Of Might abilities. Level 10 brings party-wide buffs in Wrath of Heaven alongside Armour and HP Regen, and level 20 adds Cooldown Reduction, Sanctuary and Blessing of Warding, which is where the Priest becomes a genuine defensive layer for the whole team rather than a single-target healer.

Why does the Priest matter for progression?

Because it is the only class that can undo a wipe. Sanctuary arrives at 20 and Resurrection at 30, so a party with a Priest can recover from a fight that would end a run for any other composition.

That makes the Priest the difference between clearing a stage and farming it. A team without one has to out-gear every encounter; a team with one can attempt content above its gear level, which is usually the faster route to the next stage tier. Level 40 adds Magic Damage Enhancement for an offensive-support hybrid, and level 50 extends party endurance when fights run long.
