How do you build the Task Bar Hero Slayer?

The Slayer is the critical-hit berserker. It has the highest base attack in the roster (5) and the best critical profile in the game at 8% chance and 175% damage, so essentially every point goes into making those critical hits land more often and hurt more.

The level 1 row is pure damage output — Attack Damage Enhancement, Crit Chance Enhancement, Slam Jump and Crushing Blow. Level 10 adds Crit Damage Enhancement and Attack Speed, which is the crit-devastation row, and level 20 brings Life Steal and Armour Penetration with Ground Slam to keep the Slayer upright while it attacks.

Is the Slayer too fragile to use?

It is the most fragile class in the game — 65 health and 12 armour are both near the bottom of the roster — but that is the trade for the highest damage output. The tree answers it directly: Life Steal at 20 converts the Slayer’s own damage into sustain, and Bloodlust with Health Enhancement at 40 adds a real health pool.

The level 30 row is explicitly glass-cannon scaling (Physical Damage Enhancement, Move Speed, Axe Spin), so the intended play is to kill before being killed and to keep moving. Boss Damage Enhancement at 50, Crit Chance at 60 and Commander’s Cry at 70 make it the strongest single-target damage class by the end of the tree, provided something else is holding the frontline.
