What are Task Bar Hero stage chests and drop tables?
Task Bar Hero stage chests are the containers that actually distribute loot: stages award chests rather than dropping items directly, and each chest type rolls against its own drop table.
Chests are how Task Bar Hero actually distributes loot. Rather than dropping items directly, stages award chests, and each chest type rolls against its own table of weapons, armour, accessories, materials and runes with an individual probability per item. That extra layer is why two stages a chapter apart can differ enormously in what they are worth farming.
This database lists every chest type with its complete drop table and the per-item probabilities behind it, so you can see exactly what a chest can produce and how likely each outcome is.

Ordinary stage chests drop in volume and carry the common end of the loot table, while boss chests are far scarcer but concentrate the higher-rarity items and rarer components.
Ordinary stage chests drop in volume and carry the broad, common portion of the loot table — materials, lower-rarity equipment and currency. Boss chests are far scarcer but concentrate the higher-rarity items and rarer components behind lower individual probabilities.
That split determines your farming plan. If you need bulk materials, ordinary chests on a fast-clearing stage win on throughput. If you are hunting one specific high-rarity item, you want the chest whose table actually contains it, which makes checking the drop table before committing an idle session far cheaper than discovering the item is not on it.
- ▸ Ordinary chests for volume, boss chests for rarity
- ▸ Always confirm the item you want is on the chest’s table
- ▸ Fast clears usually beat richer tables for bulk farming
Reading chest drop rates
Every drop rate in a stage chest table is a probability per chest opened, not a cumulative chance per stage run.
Each probability in a drop table is per chest opened, not cumulative per stage run. That distinction matters when you are estimating a farm: a one-in-two-hundred drop is not "two hundred runs", it is two hundred chests, and a stage that produces more chests per hour shortens the hunt regardless of its individual table.
